Khorixas Craft Centre

Welcome to our Namibian traditional art craft shop, Khorixas Crafts Centre. We are selling all handmade traditional accessories, dolls, gemstones, woodcarvings, etc. Most of these art crafts are made by the shop owner, Ms. Engela Ortner. Our products are made mostly of natural materials such as seeds, leather, stones, ostrich egg shells and wood, and some of them are made of recycled fabrics. Our shop is situated in Khorixas lying between Twyflefontein which is the Namibia’s first World Heritage Site and Outjo known as the entrance of Etosha National Park. It might not be easy for you to come in our place which is made of stone wall, but if you open our door, you will find it is an interesting place. We are welcoming you with our big smiles. Our attractive art crafts will become something to remember of your journey in Namibia.

Komesho Project

Welcome to our traditional art crafts, Komesho Project. We are creatint and selling all handmade Namibian unique crafts such as traditional dresses, dolls, decorations and soaps. These crafts are created by 10 community members and sold on open markets and streets at Windhoek, Swakopmund, Gobabis and Otjinene. Mostly, we create Helelo tribe’s traditional crafts. Since the Herero are proud cattle farmers, the traditional dresses are derived from a Victorian dresses, and a horn shaped hat which is said to represent the horn of a cow. Why not get our traditional art crafts.
